Early Kirkwall

9:30 - 9:36

With the Blight in full swing and the army decimated at Ostagar the Hawke family fled Lothering to their family in Kirkwall. After arriving, the Hawke siblings began a year of indentured servitude to grant them safe passage to enter the City of Chains. In Kirkwall the siblings made a name for themselves, as fair but outspoken voices against injustice.

After the Qunari rose to take the city, Aoife would fight the Arishok being named the Champion of the city. Leaf had just wanted to protect her loved ones and family at first; hoping to keep her brother on an even keel either through reason or a fist to the face. The woman never intended on being a voice of reason between mages and templars.

After Kirkwall

9:37 - 9:40

12 WINTERMARCH Legacy - The Hawke siblings are drawn to into a trap set by Corypheous who is being held prisoner by the Grey Wardens. Aoife is disturbed by their father’s use of blood magic and involvement.

8 DRAKONIS Anders, an apostate and companion of Hawke, destroys the Kirkwall chantry with the grand cleric still inside, inciting the Mage-Templar War that spreads throughout Thedas. Aoife takes the betrayal hard but she torn between her own involvement and love for her friend, she stabs him, but not mortally wounding him.

15 DRAKONIS Hawke leads the push to stop the mages and templars as they clash in Kirkwall. The city’s First Enchanter Orsino and Knight-Commander Meredith are both killed. Once sure that their companions and family were safe, Leaf went on to track and trace the origin of the red lyrium.

11 CLOUDREACH Seeker Cassandra Pentaghast, acting under the authority of the Divine, arrives in Kirkwall and interrogates Varric Tethras about the twins. Leaf keeps tabs on her family and eventually Carver would join her in hunting down the red.

Inquisition

9:41 - 9:44

20 CLOUDREACH - The Hawke siblings visit Skyhold after hearing about the events of Haven from Varric. Convincing the Inquisitor to meet Stroud at Crestwood the group would gather later at Adamant, fighting through the lines of Warden's to be then hurled into the fade. It became clear to Aoife that not everyone would make it out of the fade and after forcing everyone to leave, she remained behind to fight the Nightmare alone.

Weeks would go by until her brother finally found a way to break back into the Nightmare's domain and rescue his sister. Leaf would spend the next few years convalescing, deeply traumatised by the extended period trapped in the fade and the suffering inflicted by the creature.

The Fall ... and rise of Korr

9:45 - Present Day 9:49

The collapse of the veil gave rise to possession of mages everywhere and Leaf was no different. Albeit in the form of a demon of rage. The two fight constantly, warring for control within the mage. Although outwardly Leaf maintains herself, appearing physically unaltered by the creature that shares her form, a war of wills is ever battling. Korr is content for the moment, finding joy in playing with his current host whereas Leaf despises his ever presence in her mind. He taunts Leaf, tempting and fanning the flames of the deep seated rage which she has buried all her life.

After losing control around her family resulting in the death of her beloved Mabari Remington, Leaf has sought seclusion. Hiding herself away while she grapples to find balance she has mostly kept as low a profile as possible. Her only companion besides Korr is an female orphaned mabari pup she has called Khali.
