A goodbye
death
Maika awaited for Zevran with a bunch of flowers in her hands, today was the day for the goodbye that she had postponed for many years and she would offer Zevran to come with her. If he refused she wouldn’t blame him; it was hard for her and she had the time to process the grief, she couldn’t imagine how it could be for her lover.

When Zevran’s silhouette appeared in the distance she started to walk towards him calmly, pressing a soft warm greeting kiss when she was close enough to. It wasn’t passionate but familiar and comforting, which was more fitting for the task ahead “I am bringing her flowers, do you want to come? If not you can wait here, or enter in the tavern and meet Cooper; he knows about you” she wouldn’t judge him for refusing the offer.
