As I have no doubt said before, you have my apologies for not being able to make the trip to Starkhaven in person. There is however, a matter that drew my attention this time, far more than my usual travels. Something that I believe you and many others will be relieved to hear, as I am certain the news will spread in due time.
Elgar'nan is dead.
Had I not seen it first-hand, I likely would have never believed it. For now, he is no more. I hope this brings yourself and others some comfort, the likelihood of his remaining forces launching any sort of sizable assault on any city is slim to none for the time being. Though I shall keep an eye out just in case. I would advise you to do the same, though unlikely, I am sure there will be a foolhardy few who try their luck to avenge a man they saw as a god.
Given a little time, I would like to visit once more. As long as you do not see such as an intrusion on what I imagine shall be a rather hectic time.
