Brief About:
Kellam was born to non-mage parents in a Dalish clan, with an abusive, alcoholic father and a neglectful mother. When Kellam showed signs of magic, his father took pride in him, pressuring Kellam to become the Keeper. Driven by this expectation, Kellam stopped at nothing to achieve his goal, even causing a rival mage's "accidental" death. He eventually became the Keeper, ruling with an iron fist and strict adherence to tradition, believing harsh measures were necessary to ensure the survival of the Dalish.

Kellam married Amara, who softened his harsh demeanor, and they had a son, Ruth. However, when Amara died protecting Ruth from a bear, Kellam's grief turned into bitterness and anger toward his son, whom he unfairly blamed for Amara's death. Kellam's harshness extended to the entire clan, especially the mages under his training. His abuse ultimately drove Ruth to leave the clan.

During the recent Orlesian Blight, Kellam's clan suffered heavy losses, prompting him to lead the survivors north to Arlathan in the Free Marches, seeking refuge despite his uncertainty about being under another's command.
