Brief About:
Marcel was born into a large but minor Tevinter family, feeling like an outcast as the only non-mage among them. Despite lacking magical abilities, Marcel channeled his passion into science, becoming highly skilled in the field. Uninterested in the military, which his indifferent parents pushed him towards, Marcel fled Tevinter at fifteen.

In the south, after quickly running out of stolen money, a kind Templar helped him, leading Marcel to assist the Templars in finding apostate mages. He later took classes at the University of Orlais, where he met Rosalie Rutherford and aided her in treating people with the Blight.

When the Veil fell, Marcel unexpectedly gained magic and is now learning to control it with Eithne's help. He plans a cautious return to Tevinter, hoping enough time has passed for him to avoid consequences for fleeing military service.
