It says it'd be a better wife, better mother... And I thought...she trailed off, sighing quietly. As he reassured her that Kaczor was fine, she settled, though she didn't completely relax until her father promised Malik would look after her wife and child.
Mmm, don't want Annie. Didn't want Annie? Dunno,she mumbled, opening her mouth obediently for another bite of food. She was thinking about, whether her demon didn't want a child or if she didn't. But she couldn't quite untangle the tendrils of demon vs Novella and eventually gave up, to eat in silence.
