Entry was easy enough to effect. He strode up and was saluted by one of his own guardsman on loan at the gate. Lycæus stood there, razor sharp voulge pointed skyward as snapped to attention. “Executus” he said in a crisp timber. Tacitus watched his eyes wander a moment before he spotted Tiberius. A hurried “Milord” shot out, slightly unformed, his eyes wide.

“Very Good, Lycæus. I would meet with Hegemone. Is she within the estate?” Tacitus spoken in a even level tone. Lycæus snapped into his response, “Affirmative ser, he rests within the library at this hour.” Tacitus responded with a “Very well” and a gesture to the closed gate they stood at. Lycæen spun on his heel and opened the gate. Striding through. Within was mostly cobble stone foot paths and small outbuildings for workers and animals. A few full sized trees were accommodated for by simple stone circles complete with stone benches. Dead leaves and dry twigs scattered loosely on the stones. It gave a simple but homey ascetic to the austere stone bricks of the estate. Another Umbra man, Dorcan, spotted the entourage and with a confused and worried look fell in lock step beside Lycæus. Together they climbed the smooth grey stone steps to the estate proper. There stood to Guardsman not within the employ of house Umbra. Their brown gambeson held a yellowed triangular gemstone folding in on itself compared to the blue and copper tabards of house umbra over chain. Tacitus strode forward past his uncertain guards.

“Good ser, You will announce us” he said, walking past him and opening the double door into the house. He could here Dorcan quietly explaining who they were to this perplex guardsman before returning to the vanguard at Tacitus' right. The main room held a small sitting are flanked by twin curved stairwells up leading to a balcony with a suite of doors above. Two halls on the ground floor lead out of this rectangular room the the east and west. To the west looked to be to the larder, but the east lie a clear library. He strode forward, the clipped tapping of metal sabaton on polished stone flanking him. The library was mostly lit by long rectangular two story windows but a single candle sat lit on a darkwood table. There sat two people. One a woman, young pale in a simple cowl necked black dress and symmetrical circular hair cut. Second wore the livery of house on a silvered breastplate. They sat talking in a hushed tone, no books between them. They were interrupted by a slightly offkey horn announcing their presence. He walked to the head of the table and spoke simply “I present to you Tiberius Umbra, head of house Umbra.” before making a gesture for Tiberius to continue.
