"How incredible." Jaya mumbled as her mind caught up to the conversation and the information this new Lord Frey brought with him. There was a sudden pang of jealousy that five of these incredible creatures had imprinted on members of the other expedition, but Jaya stamped that down quickly. She would not let such base emotions ruin the moment she currently inhabited... little more than an arms length away from a young griffon. And, oh! He turned his head at hearing his name!!
"Surely there's no rush." Jaya blurted, then smiled at Lord Frey's comment on Argo's food preferences. "Sit, please. I've not finished my stew either." Gesturing at the chairs, Jaya's head swiveled until she spotted the bartender. Catching his eye, she waved him over and then took her own seat.
"Sorry." she said, giving the newcomer another smile. "I am Jaya Zeudi, from the University of Orlais. Some bread? Iggy was kind enough to share." she said, lifting the plate to offer some to Quinn.
"What's this then?"[/b] The bartender had stopped short on his approach to the table at seeing Argos. [i]"Your professor promised no trouble with beasts. It best behave itself, aye? I'll not have it soiling my floors." He'd puffed up to let the three know he meant it. Then grumbled something about refreshments and turned back to his bar and kitchens to retrieve what he would.
"I believe there's meant to be a lovely lake in the valley. I'm sure Argos will be able to eat his fill of fish." she said, smiling down at the griffon.
