It was rare that Morrigan pulled her children together; it was rare that anyone witnessed a gathering of the Witches. But she had shown up to see Asha'bellanar, which was a surprise in and of itself. She avoided her daughter like she was avoiding a plague. Not because she did not love the girl, but because every time she saw her, something went wrong. The child simply wasn't what Morrigan expected, and no-one was around to temper her anymore. And she'd not yet introduced Grainne to her children.

She'd brought food for a picnic, being realistic, she had probably let herself into Cullen's kitchen and absconded with whatever he'd been making. But there was a picnic, blanket and basket and even a puppy. Which might seem a bit suspicious, if it wasn't already clear that she was trying to get on her child's okay side. She wasn't even certain where she stood with Kieran these days. But at least she knew Asha disliked her (though dislike might be too strong of a word... or not strong enough, who knows).

Morrigan despised pretending to be domestic. But here she was.
