It felt good, just spending time with Rosalie and talking about their future. A nice break from worrying about the blights. Once they defeated them, he’d have a lot more free time to just spend with Rosalie. The fact that he was Warden-Constable just helped the fact that he would have more freedoms than a lowly recruit or even senior warden. He’d still have duties of course, but once the blights were over it would make a huge difference, and depending on how things went with Rosalie’s treatment could mean even more free time. Since they’d be able to fully bolster their ranks with willing participants who wouldn’t face an inevitable death in the deep roads once the calling took hold.
I can’t wait to see it! Ferelden is nice, but I definitely miss Orlais. Though if you ever wanted to settle back here, I’d always be open to that. I’d figure out something with the wardens. I could always transfer but it would mean a demotion if I did.He had nothing against Ferelden unlike some Orlesians, he definitely didn’t get the wet dog smell that many accused it of smelling like. It just smelled like any place to him.
