Loghain had a lot to think about, even if he didn’t remember having a daughter named Asha or have any emotional feelings towards them, they were still his daughter. He wasn’t going to turn his back on them. Even if he didn’t end up staying in Orlais with his son Kieran, at least he could go there to coordinate with everyone else going to find Asha.
Then there was this little Echo girl that had followed him home after being resurrected, Morrigan had said it must be some sort of magical child created from her magic and their DNA, yet another thing to try and wrap his mind around.
He smiled warmly at Rosalie, he recalled Cullen talking about her and his other siblings a lot back during the Fifth Blight. He could see why now.
