Aulus offered a weary scowl to Francis and the others who had gathered. Where was Octavia? His employer's curiousity inspired by the flyers, he'd made the journey to the mountain at last but got seperated from Octavia after a rock slide and a concussion. He looked around, still blinking back dark spots at the edges of his vision. Had the woman gotten lost? Did she disguise herself with some spell he had never heard of? Or did that brat give up the hike and go back to the city? With each question, Aulus's frown deepened, prickling all around him.
