Kaczor was unsure if it was unwanted, so she was making some overt gestures to make sure that her flirting was wanted, was okay, and then backing off, to read the body language, to listen to the words. Had Kaczor been anyone else, a man for instance, she might have just taken the initiative and kissed earlier, or absolutely pulled Ella down into her lap, just to feel ownership, possession. And while Kaczor was a possessive person, she was always checking in to make sure that her partner was still enthusiastically on board with the consent. [q]I promise I won’t bite. Yet.
