She would fight hard to make sure all that money went to Ella, or she’s make sure to sabotage Ella’s father getting paid at all. They didn’t have a chaperone there with them after all.
But the wine was delivered soon enough, and as the butler went off, Kac made sure they were alone again. [q]And your experience, or lack there of, isn’t something I would hold against you. Kac lifted one of the glasses of sparkling wine to her to-be-wife, and then raises the other, tapping it against Ella’s glass, before taking a drink, her free hand on Ella’s lower back as she watched the smaller woman’s face. Gods she was… Kaczor needed to stop thinking about it. Because if he didn’t he was going to scare his wife. And she didn’t want that, not yet. Let her pretend a little while longer that when Ella learned her secret she wasn’t going to go running away. She paused, as she set the glass aside, her eyes on Ella’s lips again. [q]And if you never want me to share your bed, then we’ll deal with that when it comes time as well, but my offer still stands, my lady wife. If you want romantic love, I will woo you, if you want just the love of two people raising children together, I will give you that, if you want the love of family, without sexual need, I will do my best to give you that as well. I won’t lie and tell you if you don’t want a sexual relationship with me, that I will be faithful. I will seek out a lover, to sate my sexual needs, but they would never be in our house, around our children, or near you. Her voice had lowered, as she drew nearer to Ella in that moment, getting ready to take Ella’s glass from her, so she could move in for a kiss. She’d never been so certain that she wanted to kiss someone, as much as she wanted to kiss Ella right then and there. [q]I’m going to kiss you, Ella. Say no, if you don’t want to..[q]
Was Kaczor aware that her father and Ella’s father were heading that way. She was, as she could see the two men making their way towards the gazebo, and Kaczor realized it must be much later than they were aware, and they were being gathered for dinner. And so when she found no voiced no, Kaczor hooked Ella under the chin, and let her lips slide over the smaller woman’s, tilting her back some in her lap, so that Kac could lazily feed upon those lips in the moment, her eyes going to the entry way of the gazebo as Ella’s father appeared.
She shifted her hips, knowing that being watched in that moment would have her hard, and pressing into Ella’s behind fast, and that wouldn’t do. But she felt Ella’s father’s gaze the entire time, before breaking the kiss and helping Ella back upright.
The threat had been made. And Kaczor was certain it had been heard loud and clear.
