[q]Yes, Benson was the gentleman with the wine. He, his father, his grandfather, and his great-grandfather have all served my family in the past. His son will be serving us as well in the future, when he comes of age, and well, he returns from his compulsory military service. We miss his greatly, of course, I was not much younger than him, when he was born. I look forward to him taking over the main responsibilities of the different manors when Benson has decided he’s done taking care of us.[q] Kaczor laughed gently. [q]I think.. They’re family as well, you know. Their family has been so tied to ours the entire time that, I can’t imagine life without them.[q] She took Ella’s hand, in her own, to walk through the house towards the dining hall.

[q]You don’t mind if we go straight into the kitchen to eat, right? I don’t want to wake Cook, so I’m going to get us a small meal of cheese, breads, and fruits, if that’s alright? If you want something hot, I can always wake Cook, but I thought we’d be able to make do for tonight?[q] Kazor looked like she was waiting to see how Ella would reply, if it would be an issue, or if this was fine. [q]I, I will wake Cook if you need a hot meal. Or, I could try and make some soup?[q] She thought she could manage some soup, as they walked along.
