Ella listened, her head tilting slightly. So the Tilani family, despite being progressive, still used slaves. Even if they were servants, and not actual slaves, the matter of the issue was still the same. But she doesn't say that. No matter how nice Kaczor seems to her, the other's shown how deceptive they can be...

And that's going to leave Ella watching her words, guarded, even if she works hard to see un-guarded on the surface. So she grinned brightly, as her fiancee claimed her hand and led her through the home.

[q]Mmm, I'm okay with something simple. If you don't want to wake the cook, I could prepare a meal.[q] She offered, almost as if she thought that it's what her future spouse expected from her.

Kaczor was... interesting; she couldn't get a clean read on the other. She loved arts, literature... things that weren't wholly disallowed by the Imperium. But the way she talked about her servants had caught her attention. She was concerned now, that there might be a real purpose to her being here than to help her father topple this family from power.

It completely took her mind off of her worries.
