The collapse of the veil had left them all scrambling, normality had been upended, at least what normality one could have. Leaf envied those who were lucky to have well tempered spirits, demons were troublesome and while she had tried to find fault with the First Enchanters idealism, it had merit. Demons were once spirits, they’d simply lost their way and become corrupted. That understanding though, did not offer much comfort either.
