Jumped head first

The journal glows, as a new message comes in. Written in Grim’s hand, for his friend Mariam. He’d missed their last planned meeting because of his little jaunt deeper into the Free Marches, so once he was finished communing with the being inside of him, with Ruth’s help, he immediately collected his journal. He didn’t want Mariam to worry about him, he’d never missed a meeting before entirely. Perhaps a bit late, but this was a couple of days overdue.

Hey, I’m alive. Too much to explain in writing, but we need to meet up. I met someone that was able to help me make sense of my black outs. The news is simply too wild to explain in writing. Meet me at our favourite tavern? I promise I’ll make it this time.
