Hopeless Wanderer

Julian nodded with enthusiasm. He had no particular plans as of right now and knew it was best to just schedule it now. If she had her tools with her, he would say right now but these types of activities usually require a bit of planning and preparation. "I have opening in time this week. Travel shouldn't be an issue. Where ever you want to do the tattoo...I can meet there." Listening to Nahreida, he thought about the elf city Arlathan. It was run by elves. He knew there was hate for some but for him personally, he didn't care much. What's the point of creating barriers between people? It just creates more chaos. The true testament to what Julian thought was how he could use them as partners. But those were silly and future thoughts. He had no control right now. "How is Arlathan? I haven't spent much time in that city..."

(Sorry it's just a bit short...)
Nahreida nodded, she'd still have to trace out the design, which admittedly wouldn't take her long, but long enough that it would mean a lot of waiting around if they tried to do the tat right then and there.

Next week works, it'll give me time to get it sketched up for you to approve before I ink you. I can meet you here if you'd like, the tavern owner is pretty good about letting me do tats here. Either that or we can meet at Black Eden, Ari let's me do tats out of her place for a fee and it's a lot more comfortable there. She smiled warmly and tipped her head slightly when Julian asked about Arlathan.

Arlathan is, well, Arlathan. Ha, you'd think I'd be better at talking about it since I slept there for a few thousand years or more. It's not what it was, but Vela is working on bringing it back to its former glory. She'd not bad for a Dalish elf, though honestly I find the distinctions weird. I mean an elf is an elf is an elf, what does it matter if we're ancient or Dalish or city, ears are still pointy She said with a shrug.
"Wonderful. Then let's meet next week then. I'm fine with either here or Black Eden." Julian's smile was filled with excitement. The sooner he could get the tattoo, the quicker he could make moves on a mission he was planning on taking care of. He nodded to Nahreida's explanation of Arlathan. He wasn't planning on stepping foot in the city due to reasons. "I mean, yes Elves are Elves but if you truly think about it. Each race of elf may have sort of different cultural things. Who am I to commit on that subject...I'm not elf..."
She smiled warmly.

That's true I suppose, some of my kind think that city elves and Dalish elves are no better than shemlen, er... I mean humans. I don't think that's true though, cultural differences aside, they simply are what the world made them. Then again I also think rather highly of all races, humans included, not always a popular line of thinking with some of my kind. She shrugged, then again she felt being an aberration made her especially sensitive to the idea of treating people differently simply because of where they were born or what they looked like. They were all people after all, with the same basic needs and desires.

Sounds perfect, let's go with Black Eden, I'll see you in a week then!!! She grabbed her satchel and stood up.
"The world can be a nasty place when it comes to people's opinions. It's silly really...to think people can be higher than others when everyone...well mostly everyone has bones beyond the flesh. We all bleed...." With a sudden nod, Julian adjusted his cloak. His warm smile returned on his face as he stared at Nahreida. "Black Eden it is....I'll see you in a week. Travel safely....the roads have been dangerous of late."  And with a quick movement, Julian rose from his seat and began walking out of the tavern. Swiftly blending into the ground and soon walking through the darkness.
