Bogfishers thrive in dark, wet environments like caves, swamps, or marshes. Despite their fearsome appearance, they are timid creatures that prey only on eels, frogs, and fish. Local folklore dubs them 'bogfishers,' viewing them as remnants of a wilder world. During an expedition with Marquis D'Archambon, we encountered one in a cave. D'Archambon dismissed it as a primitive beast, unaware of its lethal capabilities. That night, beside an underground lake, the true darkness and danger of this realm became apparent when the bogfisher fatally attacked D'Archambon. It taught me that this world is not ours to conquer, but a domain of ancient and unfathomable perils.
